Salamander Café is one of the coolest spots within the nation’s capital city offering a healthy and unique breakfast and lunch Monday through the weekend.
Located in Wuse II, Abuja, Salamander Café is a favourite of the expatriate community and a lot of the cultured Abuja crowd offering great food, fabulous ambiance and fantastic services.
Established in 2007, Salamander is a great cafe that also has a mini bookshop that is an extension of the ‘Jazz Hole’ famous for its books and music.
Salamander Café’s customized catering style lends itself to all of the trendy new cuisine, authentic international themes, as well as the popular traditional meals.
Salamander Café is a top spot for feeding the stomach and the brain where guests can eat, maybe have a glass of wine, or coffee and probably pick up a book or two from the Glendora Bookshop located within the cafe while waiting.
The café has been hosting book reading sessions since it opened for business in 2007. It has also hosted an evening of old school music called ‘Faaji Session’. The ageless minstrel, Fatai Rolling Dollar and Sina Ayinde Bakare, performed during the show which recorded an impressive attendance.
